My Approach
In systemic therapy, we deal with the influences of the family of origin - including ancestors, insofar as we have their information.
In addition, we examine the current systems in the present-day family, in partnerships, friendships, and the workplace.
How much are our daily actions and feelings influenced by the "old" family system? What have we inherited without being aware of it?
What early childhood experiences have we forgotten or never considered "significant," yet subconsciously carry with us every day?
Why do we attract certain people and situations, or why do we fail to gain access to areas that are important to us?
What current influences from the environment, news, and social media trigger old patterns and thus become a burden?
The connections between experiences in ones' own childhood and the experiences of our family lineage that we did not experience ourselves are the key to almost all of todays' psychological burdens.
Once these are deciphered, we can regain control of our lives, recognize our own strengths and abilities, better understand ourselves and our loved ones, and eliminate entrenched conflicts.
We discover who we truly are - without the often supposed truths and duties passed down through generations, without the individual circumstances of growing up and becoming an adult, without the current expectations of others on us and on ourselves.
What resources have we developed, what skills and desires are truly present, and what strength can be drawn from them to cope more calmly and contentedly with today's challenges – we explore all of this using various methods.
This includes targeted questioning, genogram work, figure constellations, rope work and much more.
About me
After 25 years in the film industry, I've turned to my true passion – psychological therapy. Even after graduating from high school, I wanted to study psychology, but my family background prevented me from doing so.
Thanks to my work as a filmproducer, I was able to see much of this world, get to know and understand different cultures, and sharpen my senses as a stress reliever from an early age.
My long-standing connection with Rosa Rechtsteiner and the subsequent study of her method have given me deep insights into transgenerational inheritance.
My training as a alternative-medical practitioner specializing in psychology taught me the classical theories on psychological disorders and illnesses.
My knowledge was rounded off by the study of systemic therapy, which enabled me to take a holistic view of all our systems - past and present.
Recognizing these, sensing them, releasing them when they have negative influences, and perceiving and utilizing them when they have a positive effect - that is my key recipe for mental stability, strength and satisfaction.

Important questions that we will ask ourselves about your particular topic, and then resolve:
Family
Am I aware, which experiences and possible trauma of my family of origin steer my daily actions and feelings?
Have I ever considered the influence of, for example, my grandparents' story on my personal development?
Children & Young People
What do my childrens' problems have to do with me, my partner, and our families?
How can we protect our children while also allowing them to grow up?
How can I understand the current external influences on my child and meet them on an equal eye level?
Relationship
Which conflicts in my romantic relationships and friendships keep recurring? What do these patterns have to do with my family system, and which ones were shaped during my childhood and upbringing?
Why do I sometimes feel and act so differently from my loved ones?
Anxiety & Trauma
What do my fears have to do with my family of origin?
What current circumstances trigger my subconscious and manifest themselves in feelings of worry and fear?
What do the traumatic experiences of my ancestors have to do with my current blockages?
Business & Career
Have I found my true calling in my profession? What influence do my family, my environment, and world affairs have on my career choice?
What resources do I possess thanks to my heritage and experiences, and how can I consciously use them (professionally)?
Depression
What are the real triggers of my depression?
Are there traumas in my family that influence my life and prevent me from living a happy life? Am I using depression to withdraw from present life, and what experience am I actually running away from?
Topics - Key Aspects
Family
The influence of one's family of origin is paramount. We haven't just inherited our mothers' blue eyes, our grandfathers' sense of humor, or our aunts' talent for art.
We all inherit the experiences and legacy of our ancestors and carry them with us in our subconscious. These influence our feelings every day, how we perceive situations, and how we then act. Some more than others. Using the so called genogram work, we look together at your family tree and discuss which old themes from previous generations still play a crucial role in your life today.
Relationship
Here we examine all of actual relationships – partnerships, friendships, colleagues, and also family ties. We explore our own systems and those of the individuals with whom we have conflicts and cannot resolve them.
Who do I truly see in the person opposite me? What do I expect, and what is expected of me? We discover which systems and childhood experiences have influenced us and the other person to such an extent that we can no longer recognize or understand ourselves or them.
Business & Career
Almost everyone faces major professional challenges. Now more than ever.
We check whether you are truly living out your real talents in your profession.
This can be helpful if we want or need to improve or change our professional situation.
What influence do our family of origin and our society have here as well - be it in the choice of profession, in self-confidence when it comes to our career, in the courage to take a different path.
We overcome our ingrained, social and societal blocks that often hinder us when we want to reinvent ourselves - regardless of origin, education and age.
Children & Young People
I work with parents, children, and young people of all ages. We will assess in an initial consultation how crucial individual sessions or the involvement of parents or other family members will be.
Here, too, we examine all the reasons that can contribute to strained relationships between parents and children. This includes behaviors of children and adolescents that can be based on transgenerational inheritance and early childhood experiences of both the child and the parents.
We like to use the technique of setting up figures here - a playful experience that reveals more about our perceptions and feelings than we can imagine.
Anxiety & Trauma
Here we first consider the original family with all previous generations, as far as we still have information.
What fears and trauma are partly buried here – or – even if we know about the war experiences of our parents and grandparents, for example – have we ever consciously considered what that did to them, what is still stored in our subconscious and secretly influences us?
Many of our fear-related blockages can be derived from and resolved by such past events.
When we ourselves have suffered trauma, we search for the resources that will make living with this experience easier for us, until suffering is transformed into extraordinary strength.
Depression
Depression is very common in todays' world, and its origins often lie in past experiences that have never been processed or dealt with.
The pressure is increasing in todays' society, where performance, lifestyle and appearance seem more important than inner satisfaction.
This pressure is unnatural compared to the stresses on our previous systems.
Almost everyone experiences total exhaustion, feeling depressed and paralyzed, and finding solace only in withdrawal. We discover which systems—those of the present or the past—need to be accessed in order to gradually release oneself from this blockage.
